Santa Monica’s Airport has grown beyond safe limits, becoming a hub for fast jets in the middle of homes built when smaller propellor planes were the norm.

At this April 2007 rally, with L.A. Councilmember Bill Rosendahl and nearby state Assemblymember Ted Lieu, I acknowledged pollution concerns and pledged to protect residents.  Santa Monica is now in court with the FAA over airport safety.
