Our own firefighters told us that what was meant to be an efficient consolidation of our Santa Monica paramedic and fire dispatch into the regional system didn’t work.

How cool is that?  Your well-being is the top priority of our public safety personnel, even when it means changing course.  Local dispatch is more costly than contracting with LAFD, but we’ve brought 911 back home.  You’re safer for it.
