Two things seem to go up inexorably -- our ages, and market rate rents!

Santa Monica’s future housing plans must address both true accessibility, so we can age in place, and true affordability, so we can stay in our hometown, and new residents can afford to join us here.

We are about to adopt a new eight-year Housing Element as

part of our General Plan for the city, and I’m working to make those priorities its foundation.
