Don’t expect pictures; this one is radio!

Santa Monica has long led the region in establishing living wages for City employees and contractors.  Now that the City of Los Angeles has made a regional minimum wage a real possibility, we have decided to accelerate existing policy work and engage the local business community so we can pass a

citywide minimum wage by the end of this summer.

Update:  Along with our new minimum wage, we’ve committed to preserving worker collective bargaining rights (“union supercession”), as has always been our policy in Santa Monica.
